Weather plays an important role in deformation monitoring. Our weather module is capable of collecting data from many popular weather stations. The system collects temperature, pressure, humidity, wind speed / direction and rain / hail. All of the measurements can be used with the alarming component to create notifications for a variety of user types. Weather data, such as rain accumulation, can be graphed alongside displacements measured by other sensors to help understand slope movement events. Weather data collected by GeoExplorer is also used for correcting atmospheric influenced measurements from other modules such as the Total Station / Prism module.
