Tilt meters are effective tools for monitoring structures that are not suited for GPS or other 3D technologies.
GeoExplorer now supports MEMS tilt meters from popular manufacturers such as RST and Slope Indicator. Like IPI systems, sensor calibrations can be handled directly in GeoExplorer to simplify installations. Tilt data can also be collected by Campbell Scientific CR loggers.
